MONITORING / OVERSIGHT

ElderCare Resources Inc. can provide geriatric care management oversight of your parents while you are out of town. Our staff is on call 24 hours a day. every day. We can be available on an "as needed" basis or we can schedule regular visits to check-in, making sure everything is going well in your absence.

Examples of this unique service include:

	A couple travel to Hawaii for three months every spring. During that time. ElderCare Resources visits with their parents on a bimonthly basis and emails the family with observations and information. The parents know to contact ElderCare Resources in case of an emergency, or with routine questions/concerns.
	A daughter had an opportunity to travel to Africa for a year. During that time, ElderCare Resources checked in with her mother on a weekly basis, providing support and reassurance. We emailed the daughter with reports, accompanied her mother to the doctor, and served as a contact for neighbors and friends. ElderCare Resources also provided bill paying services during this time.
	A daughter travels to the coast regularly. Her mother. who lives in an assisted living facility, had a medical emergency. ElderCare Resources was notified by the facility; a care manager arrived at the hospital within 15 minutes of the call, and stayed with the elderly woman until she was admitted to the hospital. ElderCare Resources served as a liaison with the physician and the family until the daughter's return.
